First Grade Classroom Theme?
I need help thinking of a first grade classroom theme! I first thought about a storybook theme, where I would put Mrs. ___'s First Grade and a picture on the door. At the bottome I thought of putting "Characters Welcome!"
Then I thought of incorporating "Camp Read-A-Lot" in the rear corner. I wanted to get a green carpet with a large foldable camping chair for me and a small one for our class mascot. I thought of getting a small temt with flashlights for the students to read in.
I don't want to do a camping theme in the entire room. But cannot think of any other theme to tie in the Reading area idea. Any ideas appreciated!
Do an outdoors theme you can have flowers and grass on the wall made out of paper.and then give each student a flower on the wall.Have them trace there hands on green paper and then you can cut them out and put each students hand tracings as the leafs on their flowers
