what kind of temperment does a border collie dog have?
From what i ahve seen and researched on they seem like nice dogs who love to play and they also make good working dogs. Could anyone tell me if you have a border collie that is what your dog is like and what do i need to do to have a happy healthy dog with me.
Mine has a lovely temperament. She doesn't snap, nip or bite. She's great with small children and loves to be around people. She's very Intelligent as well and picks up things fast, especially tricks and obedience. Border Collies are lovely dogs. They have lots of energy and need mental stimulation or they can become destructive. Tess loves to play and never gets tired so i would take how much energy they have into mind, Border Collie's can't stay indoors all day. Border Collie's love a challenge so if you have the time try train him/her some more complicated tricks as well as the basics. They are protective but also very loyal.
