Whats a good online source for buying quality leather collars?
I had gotten a response on a question regarding my German Shepherd dog scratching around her collar and someone said that a lot of dogs are allergic to (synthetic?) collars. The one she wears now is a braided black (nylon?) with a slip chain. Its kind of like a training collar. The breeder gave me this collar. I didn't question it. They have been raising GS show dogs for 30 years, so I didn't question it.
I think I ought to see if I can find a similar collar, but an all natural leather one, like the person suggested. Anyone know of a good online source for such natural leather collars?
Here are a couple I've found reliable so far. The second website is for hemp collars which are sturdy and great, plus you can just throw them in the washer to clean them off. I hope this helps!
