What is the best anti bark shock collar for under $100?
I have a 8 month old very vocal German Shepard. I dont know why but the last month she is barking non stop at nothing. i know shes not barking at anything important cause my other dog isnt barking. Its upsetting my neighbors. I have used a shock collar that i borrowed and barley had it on and it work but i need to buy my own. I just dont know whats best.
Petsafe Deluxe (with the red light). Don't go for the cheaper one. It's still under $100 and the best one I could find.
Don't listen to those who say it's cruel, etc. It's way more cruel for a dog to lose their home because they bark. It's a static shock -- didn't anyone ever rub a balloon on a carpet and chase other kids with it? When you touch somebody you get a static shock. No big deal.
Also adding about "tired dogs" -- I have a schnauzer that can be out herding sheep (very strenuous activity!!) and will still bark like a manic. She knows the bark collar and when it's on she relaxes. When it's off, it's off to the wild bark races, complete with jumping at windows. Not to diss making your dog tired -- always a good thing -- but it won't stop a persistent barker!
